Prospects for expanding cooperation and immediate plans were discussed during a meeting by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko and the President of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine” Grigol Katamadze.

“We have a common goal – implementation of reforms to create favorable conditions for business entities through the tax mechanisms, stimulating un-shadowing of business, voluntary payment of taxes to the budget, development of domestic production and investment, so that the effective cooperation with a strong organization that defends the taxpayers’ interests, is in the focus of interests of the State Tax Service” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

Leadership of the STS and Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine discussed the impact of recent changes in tax legislation on the activities of business entities in Ukraine, as well as innovation prospects to improve the business climate, simplify tax payments and improve administrative processes.

Oleksiy Lyubchenko expressed support for the principled position of Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine to ensure a constructive dialogue between business and government on all outstanding issues, and noted the active participation of Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine in preparing suggestions to improve tax legislation and work to improve knowledges of taxpayers – members of Association through seminars, webinars, round tables and meetings.

During the meeting, Grigol Katamadze informed Chairman of the STS about a number of important issues that Association has been working on for the last few years, specifically, the draft Development Tax Code, an integral part of which are innovations such as three years of reducing the payroll burden: a total of the personal income tax, single social contribution and military levy of not more than 20% and the introduction of a one-time “zero” declaration.

Parties agreed to hold an online meeting in the near future in the video conference format with business representatives – members of Association and tax specialists.
