Current results of scientific and technical work on "Formation of institutional system foundations of disclosure and control over undeclared assets of residents - individuals" were discussed by representatives of the State Tax Service and the Fiscal Policy Research Institute during the methodological seminar.
Participants discussed aspects of implementing mechanisms to strengthen control over the completeness of personal income taxation, use of such methods of tax control in other countries, potential risks and opportunities, etc.
According to Deputy Director of the Tax administration department - Head of the Administration of self-employed individual's personal income taxes and levies unit of the STS Tetiana Migas, the work of author's team of the NNTR corresponds to technical task and correlates with position of the STS on the implementation of mechanisms to strengthen control over the completeness of personal income taxation.
Tax officials note that, if relevant legislative changes are adopted, the STS will be able to implement them quickly. At the same time, for the effective implementation of such innovations, balanced approaches, clearly developed mechanisms and procedures are needed.That is why the work of scientists, their methodological solutions, calculations and conclusions based on a thorough analysis of experience in this sphere of other countries and current situation in the Ukrainian economic and legal field will allow to work out all aspects to build a quality Ukrainian model.
Reminder! To date, there is an ongoing one-time (special) voluntary declaration campaign, in which citizens have opportunity to declare assets from which taxes have not been paid or not in full amount. Campaign will last until September 1, 2022.
Declaration is submitted to the State Tax Service of Ukraine directly by taxpayers through the E-cabinet.
