Declaration campaign 2022: 13 citizens have already declared income totaling more than 1 million UAH

Citizens’ income declaration campaign for 2021 is ongoing. Almost 13 thousand property and income declarations were submitted according to operational data in January 2022, which at the level of the same period last year.  

Total amount of declared income is 4.2 billion UAH as of 01.02.2022, which is 1.4 billion UAH or 52% more than in the same period last year.

Citizens have determined payable to the budget tax liabilities from the personal income tax in the amount of 101.6 million UAH. This is 11.6 million UAH or 13% more than in January 2021. Declared tax liabilities from the military levy amounted to 15.8 million UAH, which is 3 million UAH or 124% more.

To date, the biggest amount payable to the budget (PIT and military levy) in the amount of more than 10 million UAH has been declared by female individual – resident of Sumy region, who received income from sources outside Ukraine.

Total number of citizens who declared more than 1 million UAH payable to the budget is 13 people as of January 2022. Total amount of defined tax liabilities is 35.9 million UAH.

Acting Chairman of the STS Tetiana Kirienko, on behalf of Service, thanks conscientious citizens for fulfilling their constitutional obligation and urges them to declare and pay tax liabilities to the budget in a timely manner.

Reminder! Electronic service “Property and income declaration” in private part of the “Electronic Cabinet” (“EC for citizens”) is functioning for convenience and simplification of procedure for declaring income by citizens. It provides opportunity to fill in the declaration and send it to the controlling body in electronic form with copies of primary documents, in particular, to exercise right to the tax rebate.
