Despite the war, economy has not stopped. And behind this is the daily work of thousands of business entities that keep the country going.
Processing and trade today form more than 34% of all revenues to the consolidated budget for January – March 2026. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.
In fact, this is every third UAH that went to the budget.
In particular:
- processing industry – 17.7%,
- whole and retail trades, including repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 16.5%.
Also, the TOP industries by share in the budget:
- public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – 11.7%;
- financial and insurance activities – 11.2%.
Payment growth dynamics is significant.
- Processing industry showed the biggest increase – 15.5 billion UAH or +18.2%.
- Public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – by 10.5 billion UAH (+18.7%).
- Whole and retail trades; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 7.3 billion UAH (+8.4%).
- Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – by 5.7 billion UAH (+18.8%).
“Today, business is working on the edge – under constant attacks, sirens, in conditions of lack of energy resources. And at the same time, it continues to pay taxes. For its part, the Tax Service is consciously changing its philosophy from pressure to service. In the war conditions, it is extremely important for everyone who pays taxes honestly, works transparently, to remove all artificial barriers and unnecessary bureaucracy” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.
