Jewelry sales "in the shadows": violations worth hundreds of thousands of UAH were detected during the audit

More than 800 thousand UAH of fine according to the audit results threatens entrepreneur who sold jewelry in violation of the legislative requirements.

During the actual audit of a business entity involved in the manufacture and sale of jewelry from precious metals and stones, a number of violations of settlements procedure were detected. Particularly, sale of the specified products was carried out without the use of registrars of settlement operations (RRO/PRRO), settlement documents were not issued to buyers and some of the products were not reflected in the accounting at all.

It should be reminded that individuals are entrepreneurs who are the single tax payers and carry out activities:

- selling technically complex household products subject to warranty repair;

- medicines and medical products;

- jewelry and household products made of precious metals and stones;

are obliged, in addition to the obligatory use of registrars of settlement operations according to procedure established by the law, to also keep records of inventory and sell only those products that are reflected in such records.

Taxpayers – only strict compliance with requirements of current legislation of Ukraine will protect from negative consequences.
