Declaration campaign for the last year is coming to the end in Ukraine. Deadline for submitting property and income declaration is April 30, 2026, so it is advised not to delay: there is very little time left.
Who is required to submit declaration?
Citizens who received income during the year from which tax was not paid or was not paid in full must submit declaration, in particular:
- income from renting out property;
- foreign income;
- inheritance or gifts not from close relatives;
- income not received from the tax agent;
- investment income;
- income from the property sale in cases where tax was not withheld;
- other income subject to declaration.
Declaration is also submitted by individuals-entrepreneurs (on the general system) and self-employed persons.
Who can submit declaration voluntarily
Citizens can submit declaration to receive tax rebate (for example, for education expenses, mortgage, insurance, etc.). In this case, deadline for submitting is December 31, 2026.
Tax payment deadlines
Personal income tax liabilities and military levy determined based on the declaration results must be paid by August 1, 2026.
How to submit declaration
Declaration can be submitted:
- online via the Electronic cabinet or the “My Tax Service” application;
- in person or through authorized person;
- by mail (with delivery notification).
Don't leave your tax declaration to the last days, declare your income on time!
