Individual tax consultation: registration rules and procedure

Every taxpayer has a right to individual tax consultation. This is a personal "road map" that will help to correctly apply legislative rules in the one’s specific situation.
How to get a consultation?
Choose format that is convenient for you:
- in paper form (by mail);
- in electronic form (via the Electronic cabinet);
- to electronic mailbox.
How long does it take to get a response?
Tax Service provides written or electronic consultation within 25 calendar days of receiving the one’s request. It is absolutely free of charge.
Note: If the question requires additional research, deadline may be extended for another 15 days, which will be notified in advance.
How to properly submit application to get the answer?
Request must contain:
- personal data: full name (for citizens) or company name (for legal entities);
- tax address, phone number and email address, if available;
- tax number: Registration number of the taxpayer's account card / passport data (for citizens) or code from the Only state register code of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine (for legal entities);
- essence of the question: detailed description of given actual circumstances;
- signature: regular signature (for paper letters) or Qualified electronic signature / Electronic digital signature (for electronic applications);
- date of application.
