Local budgets: revenues for 4 months of this year exceeded the last year’s by 15.5%

Taxpayers transferred more than 180.6 billion UAH to local budgets in January – April 2026. This is + 15.5% compared to last year's revenues. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.

“Strong communities are, first of all, people who work, do business and pay taxes. Main source of local budgets is personal income tax. Official employment of the population and legal salaries brought communities 104.7 billion UAH (+19.4%)” – she stated. 

Other sources of local budgets’ replenishment:

- single tax – 31.4 billion UAH (+ 9.5%);

- property tax – 20.8 billion UAH (+ 14.5%);

- corporate income tax – 12.3 billion UAH (+ 3.9%).

Communities also increase their income from other sources.

In particular:

- tourist tax – 112 million UAH (+ 13%),

- payment for parking spaces – 73.5 million UAH (+ 12.3%).

“These figures are an indicator of trust, responsibility and economic stability. This means more opportunities for restoring infrastructure, supporting social programs and stable operation of public utilities. We thank every payer for their responsibility and contribution to the development of our state!” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.
