“TAX Control” service: 3.5 million UAH of fines based on the citizens’ reports

More than 3.5 million UAH of financial sanctions were applied to individuals – taxpayers based on the tax control results based on information in reports of possible violations via the “TAX Control” digital service.

New electronic tool, introduced at the end of last year, is already showing real results and helping to combat shadow economy more effectively.

Citizens most often reported about:

- non-use of RRO/PRRO or refusal to issue fiscal check – 47%;

- carrying out economic activities without state registration – 30%;

- refusal to make non-cash payments, trade without appropriate licenses or use of unregistered labor – 23 %.

The biggest number of reports were received regarding possible violations in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odesa regions and Kyiv city.
