State Tax Service helps business identify risks in a timely manner: over 40 thousand notifications have been sent

State Tax Service is actively developing service approach in working with the taxpayers. To help identify and eliminate possible risks in a timely manner, in less than a year, the State Tax Service has sent over 40 thousand information notifications to the taxpayers.

All of them are sent through the payer's Electronic cabinet. This mechanism began to be used in the second half of 2025: instead of immediately applying audits, the State Tax Service first warns and offers to independently check the situation.

Notifications are for informational purposes only. Tax Service draws attention of business to possible inconsistencies and helps to avoid future violations and sanctions. In particular, the State Tax Service’s notifications may concern:

- settlements exclusively in the non-cash form;

- low turnover – less than 20 thousand UAH, which may indicate a discrepancy with actual costs of doing business in modern conditions;

- excess of number of active RRO/PRRO over the number of officially employed employees in business entities.

Some entrepreneurs are already responding to notifications they receive: providing explanations and clarifying information.

Response of business entities to notifications is not obligatory, but timely analysis of the situation will help avoid problems in the future.
