More than 63 thousand Ukrainians have applied for the taxpayer’s e-Card online in two weeks

More than 63 thousand citizens have already used new digital service for issuing the taxpayer card in the electronic form.  This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

“Document that thousands of citizens need every year can be obtained in a few clicks. Service is gaining more and more popularity every day. It is actively used not only in Ukraine, but also by our citizens abroad. E-Card was received: through the Diia – 62.5 thousand Ukrainians, through the “e-Consul” – almost 700 of our citizens who are abroad” – she stated. 

Lesya Karnaukh noted that tax services should be as convenient as possible for everyone. “This is my principled position. People should not spend a lot of time on complicated procedures. Maximum digitalization of services is what we have been actively working on in the Tax Service recently” – she added. 

New digital service was introduced through joint efforts of the State Tax Service, Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs with support of the European Union within the DT4UA project, implemented by the E-Governance Academy. 

By the way, issuing the taxpayer registration card number is the most popular administrative service among the taxpayers. Last year, the State Tax Service issued more than 600 thousand such codes.
