Local budgets received almost 231.3 billion UAH of taxes and levies in the first 5 months of this year. This is +15.1% compared to the same period last year. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.
“Local budgets are not dry numbers. These are changes that we feel and see in communities every day. These are restored houses, repaired roads, quality education and medicine. The biggest source of revenues is the personal income tax. In 5 months, 134.2 billion UAH was paid (+19.6% compared to the last year)” – she noted.
Among the main budget-forming payments are:
- single tax – 39.1 billion UAH (+10.3%);
- property tax – 25.4 billion UAH (+13.7%);
- corporate income tax – 17.9 billion UAH (+1.3%);
- tourist tax – 161.8 million UAH (+22.6%);
- parking fee – 97 million UAH (+11%).
“Strong communities include paid taxes. And we are grateful to responsible business and citizens who fulfill their obligations in the wartime. In turn, the Tax Service is consistently developing modern communication formats and support for the taxpayers. State Tax Service is expanding network of the Tax Consultant Offices, providing information support to the grant recipients, helping entrepreneurs adapt to changes in legislation and actively implementing new digital services” – Lesya Karnaukh stated.
