Taxpayer Service Center in Donetsk region was damaged by enemy shelling, but work was not stopped

Oleksandrivskyi Taxpayer Service Center of Kramatorsk State Tax Inspectorate in Donetsk region came under enemy fire. Building’s technical rooms were damaged and windows were broken. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

“The most important thing is that our colleagues and visitors were not injured. This is the greatest value” – noted acting Head of the State Tax Service.

According to her, work is currently ongoing to eliminate consequences of the attack. Despite this, the Service Center will not stop working. Tax officials of Donetsk region will continue to provide necessary services to visitors in the adapted premises. 

“Every day, people go to work, despite air allerts, shelling and constant danger. They just do their job. And I am grateful to our colleagues from Donetsk region and other front-line regions for their professionalism and resilience. This is how our Tax Service works today” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.

She noted that the Taxpayer Service Centers operate on the principle of extraterritoriality, so citizens can contact any other convenient Center.
