Almost 149 billion UAH to the budget: state-owned enterprises increased tax payments

148.7 billion UAH of taxes, levies and other obligatory payments were paid by public sector enterprises to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine in the first half of 2026. This is 5.2 billion UAH or 3.6% more than in the same period last year.

The main sources of growth were:

- subsoil use rent – ​​revenues increased by 5.1 billion UAH (+41.9%);

- personal income tax and levy – by 2.6 billion UAH (+10.2%);

- part of net profit (income) of state unitary enterprises, their associations and dividends (income) accrued on shares (shares) of business companies, authorized capital of which includes state property – by 1.8 billion UAH (+10.2%).

The biggest increase in revenues was provided by enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine and State Property Fund of Ukraine.

The best dynamics were demonstrated by the state-owned enterprises in three sectors of the economy.

Supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air – payment increased by 13.9 billion UAH (+ 41.0%), including:

- part of net profit and dividends to the state share – + 7.2 billion UAH (or + 320.2%);

- income tax – + 3.5 billion UAH (+52.4%);

- VAT – + 1.2 billion UAH (+ 9.8%).

Agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased revenues by 3.9 billion UAH (+69.0%), including:

- part of net profit and dividends to the state share – by 2.2 billion UAH (+153.9%);

- VAT – by 0.7 billion UAH (+34.8%);

- income tax – by 0.5 billion UAH (+88.0%).

Information and telecommunications provided an additional 0.8 billion UAH (+67.8%), in particular:

- part of net profit and dividends to the state share – 0.4 billion UAH (+180.7%);

- tax and levy on the personal income – 0.2 billion UAH (+27.3%);

- VAT – 0.1 billion UAH (+44.2%).

Indicators of the first half of year confirm that the state-owned enterprises remain important pillar of the country's economy. They ensure the operation of strategic industries, support economic stability and form a significant part of the state budget revenues.
