eExcise: business can already test system before its obligatory launch

From November 1, 2026, the Electronic system for traceability of excisable products (eExcise) will become obligatory for all manufacturers, importers and sellers of alcohol, tobacco products and e-cigarette liquids.

There is still time before obligatory launch of the Electronic system for traceability of excisable products (eExcise). Now is the time to use it to calmly prepare for the new rules.

Therefore, the business entities are invited to join testing of the system.

Preliminary testing – minimizing technical failures and operational errors in the future.

Participation in the testing will help:

- Configure own systems: adapt internal software to integrate with the eExcise.

- Prepare the team: train employees to work with new electronic cabinets and services.

- Check logistics: test creation of electronic excise marks and execution of digital documents for the products movement.

- Eliminate errors in advance: identify and correct technical inconsistencies before the system is launched at full capacity.

Companies and entrepreneurs who:

1. Have valid license for production or trade of alcohol or tobacco.

2. Are registered in the Unified State Register.

How to submit application

Go to the portal xtrace.gov.ua and fill out the form.

Testing will continue until October 12, 2026.

In addition, the State Tax Service is already sending detailed invitations with instructions directly to the taxpayers' electronic accounts – check notifications.
