Payers have paid 24.1 billion UAH of the land tax since the beginning of 2026

More than 1 million payers transferred 24.1 billion UAH of the land tax to local budgets for January – June 2026. Compared to the corresponding period last year, revenues have increased by 13.2%. Amount of 21.3 billion UAH was paid in the first six months of 2025.

The biggest amounts of land tax came from payers of:

- Dnipropetrovsk region – 4.5 billion UAH;

- Kyiv city – 3.4 billion UAH;

- Odesa region – 2.1 billion UAH;

- Lviv region – 1.8 billion UAH.

Land tax is charged from the moment of acquiring ownership of a land plot or the usage right and is paid until termination of such right. Therefore, it is important that information about land plots, their area, intended purpose, benefits and other data that affect calculation of the tax is up-to-date.

Citizens can check amount of accrued land tax and requisites for its payment independently through the payer’s Electronic cabinet or the mobile application "My Tax Service".

In case of disagreement with accrued tax amounts, taxpayers may contact the controlling authority for data reconciliation. During the reconciliation, information is clarified regarding number and area of ​​land plots, correctness of application of tax benefits, tax rates, and determined amount of tax liability.

Application for the reconciliation can be submitted in person, sent by mail, or via the taxpayer's Electronic cabinet using qualified electronic signature.

If discrepancies are identified during the reconciliation, the controlling authority recalculates accrued amounts within the established period. Based on the recalculation results, new tax notification-decision is sent to the payer, and previous one becomes invalid.
