Lesya Karnaukh: in seven months of this year, the State Tax Service provided more than 800 billion UAH of revenues to general fund of the state budget

In seven months of this year, the State Tax Service provided more than 800 billion UAH of revenues to general fund of the state budget. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh. 

This is + 63.7 billion UAH compared to the previous year (+8.6%).

82.4 billion UAH of taxes and levies administered by the tax authority were received by general fund of the state budget in July.

Main revenues:

VAT – 50.7 billion;

personal income tax – 20.8 billion UAH;

excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine – 11.1 billion UAH;

corporate income tax – 6.8 billion UAH. 

“Behind each figure there are operating enterprises, saved jobs, paid salaries, manufactured products, provided services and the taxpayers’ responsibility to the state. We understand well how difficult it is for business to operate today. Thank for your resilience. You are a pillar of support for Ukraine” – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service. 

She added that this weekend many of us saw a video on social media that was incredibly shocking. 

After another shelling of the capital by russians, a young man from Kyiv came to a small flower shop. It had been almost completely destroyed by the enemy. The man came not just to buy flowers. But to support woman-owner, from whom he constantly buys bouquets. His example was later taken up by the others.  

“And this is much more than about flowers. Such story is one of thousands about invincibility of Ukrainian business. About everyone who, even after terrible attacks, finds strength to open up and work. And about each of us who, in the most difficult moments, buys a conditional bouquet, coffee, treat. Just so that those, who are now in trouble do not give up. It is from such stories that stability of our economy and filling of the state budget are made. And I am grateful to every taxpayer!” – added acting Head of the State Tax Service.
