Bioethanol producers do not need separate license for the wholesale of such products

Bioethanol producers, who have valid production license, may involve in the wholesale of such products without obtaining separate license for the bioethanol wholesale.

This norm is stipulated by the Law of Ukraine № 3817-IX. License for the bioethanol production allows the producer to carry out activities specified by the law, including wholesale of produced bioethanol.

At the same time, this norm applies exclusively to bioethanol producers who have valid license for its production.

To import bioethanol to the customs territory of Ukraine, return previously imported bioethanol or re-export it, the business entity must obtain bioethanol production license or for the fuel production, and to export bioethanol – license for ethyl alcohol production or bioethanol production.

Also note that retail bioethanol sale is prohibited in Ukraine.
