Military levy: budget revenues increased by 25.3%

In the first seven months of 2026, military levy revenues increased by more than a quarter – 25.3%. Budget received 22.7 billion UAH more than in the corresponding period of 2025.

In January – July 2026, budget received 112.2 billion UAH, while 89.5 billion UAH in the same period last year.

The biggest amounts of military levy were provided by:

- Kyiv city – 37.1 billion UAH;

- Dnipropetrovsk region – 11.9 billion UAH;

- Lviv region – 9.1 billion UAH;

- Kharkiv region – 7.1 billion UAH.

Military levy is important source of funding for the state budget and financial support for militaries performing tasks to protect Ukraine.

Growth of military levy revenues indicates responsible attitude of payers to fulfillment of tax obligations. In the wartime, this is important component of the state’s financial capacity to meet defense needs.
