Revenues to local budgets from parking fees increased by 14.1%

Revenues from parking fees increased by 14.1% in January – July 2026 compared to the same period last year. For seven months, 136.5 million UAH was paid to local budgets compared to 119.7 million UAH in 2025.

The biggest revenues were provided by payers of:

Odesa region – 46.5 million UAH;

Lviv region – 38.3 million UAH;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 33.1 million UAH.

Parking fee is a local fee, so the paid funds remain with communities. It can be used, particularly for development of transport infrastructure, arrangement of parking lots, improving road safety and creating comfortable urban space.

Fee payers are legal entities and individuals-entrepreneurs who, according to decisions of local government bodies, organize and carry out activities to ensure parking of vehicles in paid parking lots and specially designated parking lots.

Tax base the area of ​​the land plot allocated for parking, as well as area of ​​communal garages, parking lots and parking lots built at the expense of local budget. Tax rate is set by decision of local council and can be up to 0.075% of the minimum salary per 1 square meter. Maximum amount is 6.49 UAH per 1 square meter in 2026.
