Lesya Karnaukh: local budgets have received almost 325 billion UAH since the beginning of year

Local budgets have received 324.9 billion UAH of taxes and levies over January – July 2026. This is 16% or 44.9 billion UAH more than in the same period last year. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

“Local budget is not just numbers. It is capabilities of the community. Very often, communities do not fully realize that there are reserves to increase revenues. The main thing is to clearly understand where they are being lost. And we are ready to help communities find them. These are correctly recorded land plots and real estate, official employment, business that honestly pay taxes” – she stated.

The biggest source of local budgets remains the personal income tax. For the first seven months of 2026, its revenues amounted to 197.8 billion UAH, which is 20.5% more than for the corresponding period last year.

Among other main sources:

- single tax – 50.7 billion UAH, which is 10.9% more;

- property tax – 37.3 billion UAH (+ 12.4%);

- corporate income tax – 19.2 billion UAH (+ 3%).

Also, for January – July 2026, the following were paid:

- tourist tax – 215.9 million UAH (+ 21.3%),

- parking fee – 136.5 million UAH (+ 14%).  

“In the war conditions, we are all working to increase revenues to budgets of all levels. These are funds that are actually needed for existence of Ukraine. It is extremely difficult for business to operate in conditions of constant attacks by russians and fully fulfill their tax obligations. But despite everything, I am grateful to everyone who works to develop economic potential. This is stability of the country” – added acting Head of the State Tax Service.
