Lesya Karnaukh congratulated students and teachers of the State Tax University on the occasion of the new academic year

Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh took part in initiation of the first-year students at the State Tax University in Irpen on the eve of the new academic year. This year, it celebrates 105 years since its foundation. It is here that the new generation of tax specialists, financiers, lawyers and customs officers is being formed, who will soon work for the economic stability of Ukraine.

“New studying year, unfortunately, will not be easy. With constant russians attacks, anxiety, studying in shelters and partially remotely. But I am grateful that even this does not stop our Ukrainian youth. Those who believe in Ukraine, stay in the country and choose to study here” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.

She noted that today’s students are people with the new mindset and vision. Who are definitely not used to postponing life “for after the war”. State Tax Service needs exactly such young people – those who are not indifferent, with fresh ideas, modern knowledge and desire to change the country. And the most importantly, who are not afraid and ready to take responsibility for their future and for the fate of Ukraine. 

“This year’s dedication is special for me. Because in my family I also have the first-year student – ​​daughter who has entered one of Ukrainian educational institutions. And I believe that our children will definitely live in a free and independent Ukraine” – Lesya Karnaukh stated.
