Assistance for affected business: State Tax Service launches “hotlines” in the regions for operational consultations

Business affected by the war should receive assistance quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy. State Tax Service launches “hotlines” in the regions to help affected entrepreneurs. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

“After the shelling, the first reaction is a shock. And at this moment, entrepreneurs definitely don’t always understand where to go and what to do, including with tax questions. Therefore, I ask business entities that have suffered not to delay – contact our specialists. Our specialists will promptly help to sort out additional questions and suggest effective algorithm of actions” – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service. 

In particular, what to do if:

- property was lost or damaged due to hostilities;

- documents were destroyed or lost;

- activities had to be suspended;

- enterprise or production was relocated;

- difficulties arose in fulfilling tax obligations;

- war caused other losses or complications for the business.

“Hotlines” are another measure of the State Tax Service to support affected business.

Business entities can also always seek help from the Tax Consultant Offices.
