Local budgets received 378.6 billion UAH in January – August 2026. This is 16.5% more than in the same period last year.
The main revenue source remains personal income tax. In the first eight months of this year, it provided local budgets with 226.9 billion UAH. This is 20.5% more than in January – August 2025.
Among other main sources of funding for local budgets:
- single tax – 59.0 billion UAH (+11.4%);
- property tax – 43.4 billion UAH (+13.2%);
- corporate income tax – 25.7 billion UAH (+8.4%);
- rent for the subsoil use of national importance – 3.8 billion UAH (+16.3%);
- tourist tax – 269.8 million UAH (+23.0%);
- fee for parking spaces for vehicles – 158.3 million UAH (+12.2%).
Stable tax revenues are a resource that remains in communities and allows them to provide funding for areas that are important to people. This particularly includes maintenance of educational and healthcare institutions, social programs, improvements and other community needs.
