Lesya Karnaukh wrote a letter of resignation from position of the First Deputy Head of the State Tax Service

Lesya Karnaukh wrote a letter of resignation from position of the First Deputy Head of the State Tax Service.

“In the war conditions, stability and continuity of work of all state institutions is a key to existence of Ukraine. This also applies to the State Tax Service, which is responsible for filling the state budget and financial stability of the country. And no circumstances should affect this. Therefore, I made a decision – I wrote a letter of resignation from position of the First Deputy Head of the State Tax Service” - stated Lesya Karnaukh on her Facebook page. 

She thanked the Government and the Minister of Finance for trust and opportunity to work and be a part of the State Tax Service’s team. In addition, she thanked every employee of the State Tax Service of Ukraine for their professionalism, endurance and daily work in one of the most difficult periods for Ukraine.

“And the most importantly, thank to every taxpayer! As it is you and your conscientious work that are a huge part of the country’s stability. Each of you is example of responsibility for Ukraine, despite the russians’ attempts to destroy us as a state” – Lesya Karnaukh added. 

She noted that she is grateful to everyone who was there and did everything to make the State Tax Service a truly European institution that creates clear rules for everyone who works honestly. Particularly, to international partners who help the State Tax Service go through this difficult path.

“During each meeting with business, I emphasized that trust is built by deeds. I will continue to follow this principle” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.
