Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko introduced newly appointed Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Yurii Koniushenko, to employees of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

During the meeting, key priorities of the Service’s work were identified. Among them are ensuring stable budget revenues, as well as focus on the un-shadowing economy and combating tax evasion schemes.

According to Sergii Marchenko, the State Tax Service today plays extremely important role in ensuring financial capacity of the state. Therefore, the new leadership faces clear tasks: ensuring stable operation of the State Tax Service, fulfilling budget revenue plan, effective tax administration, and at the same time transparent rules of operation for all market participants and fair treatment of taxpayers.

Yurii Koniushenko thanked for the credit of trust and noted that important condition for implementation of the specified tasks is the team interaction of the State Tax Service’s employees.

“Now is the time when the budget, tax payment is a priority on which protection of the state depends. Therefore, our main task is to effectively fight shadow economy and fill the budget. This requires well-coordinated team and responsibility for the result” – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service Yurii Koniushenko.

New Head of the State Tax Service was wished successful work for the financial stability of the state.
