Refutation of Yevhen Bambizov’s statement regarding results of the tax audit of enterprises

According to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers as of August 21, 2019 No. 682-p, the State Tax Service was entrusted with functions and execution of powers to administer taxes.

Oleksii Derevianko is the head of the STS Large Taxpayers’ Office, meanwhile Yehen Bambizov is acting chairman of the reorganization commission of the SFS Large Taxpayers Office, which is in process of liquidation. Yehen Bambizov is not employee of the STS and has nothing to do with the tax audits.

Regarding Evhen Bambizov’s statements to the journalists about the alleged tax charges and imposition of penalties to a number of enterprises, the State Tax Service informs that the mentioned issues are outside the scope of E. Bambizov’s authority. Currently, the tax audits regarding these enterprises have not been completed and decisions have not been made.

We inform that any decisions on the charging or imposition of sanctions at the taxpayers (in particular, mentioned by E. Bambizov) can be made only within the procedure determined by law and by the authorized structures of the newly created State Tax Service of Ukraine.
