Meeting between the STS Chairman Serhii Verlanov with representatives of business circles and experts on the topic: “We reduce possible risks regarding the introduction of the newest RCO” was held on the 7th of October 2019 at the State tax service of Ukraine.
“Introduction of registrars of calculated operations does not create additional pressure on the business. The simplified taxation system has not changed in any way. According to adopted Bills of laws 1053-1 and 1073 the check fiscalisation, which currently is taking place in the classic cash register, will take place on the fiscal server of the STS for programmatic RCO after the validation of legislative changes.” – stated Serhii Verlanov.
Single taxpayers of Group I (whose annual income does not exceed 300 thousand UAH) are not subject to the laws.
Those who should use registrars of calculated operations will not be forced to buy classic cash registers by the state, ie: business entities can use the newest RCO software for free.
“Over the next 6 months, we plan to adopt a regulatory framework and conduct all the necessary testing to make the transition period comfortable for the business. Access to this service will be completely open. Along with the free software provided by the STS, companies will be able to develop their own software for the business use.” – said the Chairman of the State tax service.
The new laws are intended to protect the rights of consumers and honest business representatives and to unshadow entire sectors of the economy. This will create the preconditions for accelerating economic growth.
During the meeting, representatives of business, business associations and experts actively discussed, elaborated about issues on the implementation of the new laws and introduction of the RCO. Representatives of business environment expressed their willingness to provide specific recommendations and suggestions in the framework of the ongoing dialogue with the STS.
In turn, the Chairman of the State tax service noted that the discussion on the introduction of the RCO will continue; the State Tax Service is open to cooperation with business.
