Budget revenues over January - September 2019 and the base that the tax service currently has provide confidence in meeting the planned budget revenues by the end of the year. This was reported by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Serhii Verlanov during a hardware meeting with the heads of structural divisions and territorial bodies of the STS.
Thus, 448.6 billion UAH was collected to the general fund of the state budget over 9 months 2019. This is by 1 billion UAH more than planned and by 65.1 billion UAH more than over January - September 2018.
“Rhythm of the tax revenues is adequate to the growth rate of the national economy in terms of macroeconomics. Budget revenues increase without pressure on the taxpayers, growth is organic” – emphasized Serhii Verlanov.
The STS Chairman emphasized that planning the work for the IV quarter takes into account all possible factors that influence the fulfillment of planned tasks according to the specifics of each region.
“We need to plan the last three months of the year in order to fulfill all indicators. This is challenging and ambitious task that will demonstrate our ability, new quality of service and effective planning. Herewith, we must avoid tax pressure on the taxpayers” – stated Serhii Verlanov.
According to the Chairman of the Tax service the main focus should be on the analytics and the prevention of possible malpractice and tax evasion.
In particular, financial and economic activity of enterprises that declare losses and, at the same time, receive budgetary reimbursement of the VAT, form a tax credit at the level of tax liability and manipulate the reporting will be analyzed.
The STS Chairman emphasized that the implementation of the tasks for ensuring the revenues for the fourth quarter is real.
“Tasks of the fourth quarter are fulfilling, difficult, intense but fulfilling. We need to show what real analytical work is and what it does to work with risky taxpayers” – summarized Serhii Verlanov.
Subsequently, in the fourth quarter of 2019, the STS should provide revenues of 123.2 billion UAH that is 17.6% more than in October-December 2018.
