Verkhovna Rada will modernize the tax legislation

Today, on the 30th of October 2019 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Malaysia on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of the tax evasion regarding the income taxes and the Protocol thereto.
Also, Verkhovna Rada has ratified Protocols with amendments on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of the tax evasion to the Conventions between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus; between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The day before, Verkhovna Rada ratified Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United States of America on improvement of compliance with the tax rules and application of provisions of the US Law “On the tax requirements for foreign accounts”.
As follows, Ukraine is modernizing its tax legislation and bringing it into the line with current international standards for the taxation of international operations.
