Serhii Verlanov: the Tax service will be exclusively service, convenient and fast for transparent business

Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov spoke how future Tax service and its services will look like during the meeting with IT business representatives at UNIT.City.

“My main task is to make the Tax service convenient. The STS is actively working on improving the E-cabinet’s interface. Developing services, 95% of attention was paid to the functionality required to comply with the legislation and only 5% to the user interface. We understand and address these issues”, stated Serhii Verlanov.

According to Chairman of the STS as of today, services for legal entities, most services for individuals-entrepreneurs have already been fully digitized. Today, the main task is an adaptation of services to the needs of user, providing the ability for individuals to perform all the necessary procedures easily, in a few clicks.

Currently, in the Tax service’s agenda there are introducing and improving pre-filing services for citizens, push-up reminder of deadlines for reporting and presence of debt, online consultations, reporting and payment of taxes in a convenient manner, analytical services. The biggest challenge is the RCO project in the smartphone. By January 2020, the STS should allow users to test the software RCO that will be free to download and maintain.

Serhii Verlanov also outlined that those who work in Group III of the simplified taxation system (a large part of the IT industry uses the same system) should not use the registrars of calculated operations, if their clients pay to them exclusively in the non-cash form without transferring by payment cards, subsequently transfer funds to their current account by the bank transfer. Also, RCO is not required if the customer makes a cash deposit at the bank’s cashier to further deposit it to the seller’s current account.

According to Chairman of the STS significant changes await the tax audit system. “We change the audit system. The taxpayer should forget the way to the Tax service and vice versa. Number of audits is greatly reduced. The focus is only on risky businesses trying to evade tax and abuse their rights. The Tax service will be exclusively service, convenient and fast for transparent business”, emphasized Serhii Verlanov.
