Annual plan on the local taxes has been fulfilled for 11 months of 2019 – Serhii Verlanov

According to the STS, the local budgets received 242.3 billion UAH of taxes and fees administered by the tax authorities over 11 months of 2019. Growth of revenues happened on the budget forming taxes of the local budgets.

In particular, annual amount of the income tax revenues approved by the local councils has already exceeded 401.4 million UAH over January-November 2019. Taking into account approved annual figures of 9.565 billion UAH, the taxpayers have transferred 9.967 billion UAH of this tax. At the same time, the income tax in the amount of 62.8 million UAH is still expected in December 2019.

Similar tendency is observed in the single tax, which has been paid by 103.8% of the predicted (28.7 billion UAH against 27.7 billion UAH) over 11 months of 2019. Local budgets should receive another 1.1 billion UAH of the single tax in December 2019.

That is, as of the beginning of December 2019, the Tax service has collected even more funds than local councils expected to receive for the whole year. We will keep this tendency in December. And it’s not just figures, it’s a significant additional resource that local government can spend on community development, repair more roads, build a kindergarten or school faster and solve many other important issues for people. Financial strengthening of the local communities is a real result of the decentralization reform. So that, the Tax service is ready to help and accelerate this process. The Prime Minister and the President expect such work from our side in this direction” – comments of Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov regarding the specified statistics.
