According to the results of 2019, the STS ensured fulfillment of the budget revenues by 100.8%

According to updated figures, the State tax service ensured 457.3 billion UAH of revenues to the general fund of the state budget in 2019. This is 17.1% or 66.7 billion UAH more than the result of 2018.

The Ministry of Finance’s indicative figures have been fulfilled by 100.8%, with additional revenues of 3.8 billion UAH to the budget. The taxpayers received the reimbursement of the value added tax in the amount of 151.9 billion UAH over 2019. This is 15.4% or 20.2 billion UAH more than in 2018.

“For the first time since 2011, the budget has been fulfilled by the Tax service! There was no pressure for the taxpayers, unnecessary and unreasonable audits, fines and extra charges! We have broken this shameful tradition by introducing proper administration based on the analytical work. Also, we have reduced the number of scheduled and unscheduled audits by 14% and next year we plan to reduce them by another 20%. The Tax service is really becoming a service for the taxpayers, not a nightmare” – stated Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov.

Launch of the automatic reimbursement of excessively and / or wrongly paid taxes to the taxpayers is among the positives of 2019.

Plans for 2020 have been identified. In addition to the unconditional fulfilment of the budget revenues, reduction in the number of audits there is scheduled launch of the software RCO, opening more open data sets and provision of rhythmic reimbursement of the VAT. Improvement and creation of new, convenient services for business is one of the priorities for 2020.
