Number of suspended tax invoices / calculation adjustments in relation to the registered ones has decreased by 1.5 times

The State tax service is improving the automatic monitoring system. Reduction in share of the VAT on suspended tax invoices / calculation adjustments (TI/CA) to the total amount of the VAT on registered TI/CA is the result of this work. At the same time, there is a reduced share of taxpayers whose registration of TI/CA in the Unified Register is suspended.

In particular, in November 2019 the number of taxpayers whose registration of tax invoices was suspended consisted 1.75% of the total number of taxpayers whose invoices were registered in the Unified Register. For comparison: in November 2018 – this number was 2.71%. Number of suspended TI/CA in relation to the registered in November 2019 was 0.11%, in November 2018 – 0.17%. Amount of the VAT of such suspended TI/CA in comparison with the registered ones in November 2019 was 0.57%, in November 2018 - 0.78%.

“Improvement of the automatic monitoring system allows us to improve its quality and accuracy. It means that the STS has all the necessary resources to detect and prevent tax credit fraud effectively. On the other hand, it also means that honest taxpayers can work peacefully and receive the VAT refunds on time” – Chairman of the Tax Service Serhii Verlanov commented the results.
