Parliament has improved the tax legislation

Today, in the second reading the Verkhovna Rada endorsed two important draft Laws that improve tax and levy administration procedures – № 1209-1 (256 votes in favor) and № 1210 (283 votes in favor). In particular, among the main innovations of the draft Law № 1210 there are implementation of international tax control standards for all participants of the international trade and implementation of rules prescribed by the Plan on the counteraction against practices of the tax base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS Action Plan).

Introduction of these rules will allow Ukraine to improve its image in international relations, modernize its tax administration system and adhere to the principle of fair taxation.
