Almost 72 thousand citizens have already declared their income earned in 2019

Income declaration campaign for 2019 is in the midst. Citizens have already submitted nearly 72 thousand property and income tax declarations over January-February 2020. Thus, total income in the amount of 12.8 billion UAH has already been declared – this figure is 1.8 billion UAH or 17% more than in the same period of 2019.

Citizens have independently determined almost 274 million UAH of the personal income tax liabilities. This is 55 million UAH more than in 2019. Amount of the military levy is 47.2 million UAH – this is 11.6 million UAH more than over January-February 2019.

Among the leaders in growth of payable tax liabilities, the first places are occupied by Kyiv city (+ 33 million UAH), Odessa (+ 7 million UAH), Donetsk (+ 3 million UAH), Kirovohrad (+2.8 million UAH) and Ternopil regions (+ 2 million UAH).

1041 citizens declared income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH. Total amount of their declared income is 6.4 billion UAH. Almost 133 million UAH of the personal income tax has been accrued for payment, which is 48% of the total amount of payable tax liabilities and 17 million UAH of the military levy or 36% of the total amount of payable tax liabilities.

The biggest amounts of payable tax liabilities are determined by the resident of Kyiv city – 8.7 million UAH (from income received outside Ukraine) and resident of Odessa city – 8.3 million UAH (from investment income).
