More than 134 thousand citizens declared income received in 2019

As of the 23rd of March 2020, more than 134.000 property and income declarations were submitted by citizens, including 62.000 declarations submitted in March.
According to declarations, citizens declared income in the amount of 20.4 billion UAH – this is 42% more than in the same period last year. Amount of payable personal income tax this year is 443 million UAH, growth compared to the previous year is 69 million UAH (as of the 23rd of March 2019 –374.0 million UAH) or 18%. Amount of the military levy is almost 73 million UAH – this is 15 million UAH or 26% more than in the same period last year.
In terms of declared income, residents of Kyiv (6.1 billion UAH), residents of Dnepropetrovsk (2.2 billion UAH), Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa (more than 1 billion UAH) declared the biggest amount of received income. Herewith, the highest growth rates of declared income compared to the same period last year is in Donetsk (195%) and Vinnytsia regions (174%).
Regarding the level of determination of tax liabilities, the priority belongs to Kyiv – 138.3 million UAH of declared tax liabilities, Odessa region will declared almost 33 million UAH, Zaporizhzhia – 30 million UAH.

Reminder: the Tax Code of Ukraine has been amended envisaging that citizens and individuals pursuing independent professional activities are entitled to submit the declaration for the 2019 reporting (tax) year by the 1st of July 2020. The last day of submission of declaration is 30.06.2020. Tax liabilities specified by such individuals in declarations must be paid by the 1st of October 2020.
