Declaration campaign 2020: nearly 1.8 thousand citizens declared income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH

Declaration campaign is ongoing in Ukraine, citizens declare their income received in 2019 and determine their tax liabilities.
Thus, 1761 individuals declared income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH as of the 1st of April 2020. Herewith, 749 citizens submitted property and income declarations in March 2020.
The most active declarants are residents of Kyiv city (702 individuals), Kharkiv (143 individuals), Dnipropetrovsk (129 individuals) and Kyiv regions (103 individuals) who declared income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH.
Such citizens determined income tax liabilities payable to the budget in the amount of 234.4 million UAH. Of these, 206.7 million UAH is the personal income tax and 27.6 million UAH is the military levy.
During the specified period, the biggest amount of payable to the budget amount is 24.9 million UAH (21.4 million UAH of the personal income tax and 3.5 million UAH of the military levy) was determined by the resident of Lviv region from receiving foreign income.
Tax liabilities of more than 8.0 million UAH were declared by two citizens – the beneficial owners of Ukrainian enterprises, residents of Odessa region and Kyiv city. Female – resident of Odessa region declared payable to the budget amount of 8.3 million UAH of income from the sale of corporate rights and resident of Kyiv city – 8.8 million UAH from foreign income.
Income declaration campaign is currently ongoing. Citizens have an opportunity to submit property and income declaration through the Electronic cabinet. Reference: the Tax Code of Ukraine has been amended envisaging that citizens and individuals pursuing independent professional activities are entitled to submit the declaration for reporting (tax) year 2019 by the 1st of July 2020.
The last day for submission of declaration is 30.06.2020. Tax liabilities determined by such individuals in declaration must be paid by the 1st of October 2020.
