Results of March – fiscal efficiency of the VAT increased nearly by 10%

According to the results of VAT declaration, there is a tendency of faster rates of tax increase to the volumes of supply.

Without National Joint-Stock Company “NAFTOGAS UKRAINE” Group, Joint-Stock Company “UKRGASVYDOBUVANNYA”, Joint-Stock Company “UKRTRANSGAS”, Public Joint-Stock Company “UKRNAFTA” according to the declarations submitted in March 2020, the amount of 17.9 billion UAH of the VAT was declared – this is 900 million UAH or 5.3% more than in 2019. At the same time, over the same period, volumes supply decreased by 4.2% (from 729.7 billion UAH to 699.2 billion UAH).

“How we achieved such results? No magic – only termination of minimization schemes and increasing quality of the VAT administration. This result is better than any words reflects that the Tax service is doing its job. And whatever the external challenges might be, its effectiveness will only increase. Despite the massive attacks by fraudsters and their patrons, the budget will continue to receive funds and honest businesses will receive reimbursements on time.” – emphasized Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov.
