The State Tax Service has signed a Memorandum of cooperation with the Federation of Employers of Ukraine

Today, Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko and Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynyk have signed a Memorandum of cooperation.

The Memorandum provides for cooperation between the State Tax Service and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, specifically, in creating a favorable tax climate for business development, systematization and stabilization of tax policy, conflict resolution and partnership between the State Tax Service and taxpayers.

“Signing this Memorandum is not a simple formality. This is a logical continuation of cooperation between the STS and the FEU in the future, another step towards constructive cooperation to improve the tax sphere, create equal conditions for all business entities and protect rights of the state and taxpayers.” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

The Memorandum’s subject is a reform of the tax system of Ukraine with participation of the public, cooperation between the STS and the FEU in protecting the taxpayers’ legal rights, monitoring compliance with the tax legislation through the preparation and implementation of joint activities and projects.

In turn, Chairman of the FEU Dmytro Oliynyk assured of readiness of the Federation of Employers for constructive cooperation with the STS, particularly, in terms of implementation of innovations in tax legislation, improving the processes of tax administration, combating the shadow economy and unfair competition.

Chairman of the STS and representatives of the FEU also discussed functioning aspects of certain sectors of economy and current taxation issues.
