Oleksiy Lyubchenko: We have already exposed a “scrolled” VAT for 40 billion UAH

Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko spoke about the spread scale of the VAT scroll system and the subjective preconditions for its occurrence in an interview with “Censor.Net”.

Operations in market for the purchase and sale of grain, tobacco, agricultural production and illegal transportation of products were given as an example.

“Only these examples alone, let me easily accrue 40 billion UAH of “scrolled” VAT” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

According to Chairman of the STS, one of the main cover schemes is the sale of cigarettes for cash. It is estimated that such scheme legalizes 4.3 billion UAH of the VAT by entrepreneurs who sell cigarettes but then allegedly return them as unsold.
