Oleksiy Lyubchenko: Tax services should be accessible and high quality for all taxpayers’ categories

Today, Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko inspected work of the Taxpayer Service Center of the State Tax Inspectorate of Pechersk District in Kyiv, where he met with a public figure Mykola Podrezan.
The main discussion issue was improvement of the Tax Service in terms of inclusiveness and accessibility of services for all taxpayers’ categories.
“STS as a service should provide affordable and quality services. This is our priority. We will promptly respond to any facts of improper provision of services by our specialists. After all, high tax services and the maximum number of electronic services is an indicator of effective work with the taxpayers. And if there are complaints about this work, it means that there are shortcomings and they must be corrected” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
He also thanked Mykola Podrezan for raising issue of serving citizens with disabilities. This is a signal to the tax authorities about the need for certain changes in the taxpayers’ services.
According to Oleksiy Lyubchenko, currently there is ongoing work to conduct a profile audit of the Taxayer Service Centers’ premises in view of the availability of services, particularly, for citizens with disabilities.
In addition, was started an active work with the taxpayers on the possibility of electronic communication with tax authorities and obtaining necessary services online. As follows, functionality of the Electronic cabinet is clarified, the work with which allows to receive services remotely; a number of video tutorials which cover how to use the services are posted on the STS’s web portal.
Also today, the first seminars of practical recommendations on the peculiarities of serving different categories of visitors were started for the tax specialists in Kyiv. They were organized with assistance of the Union of Public Organizations of People with Disabilities in Kyiv.
