Online seminar on management change in the framework of transition to a single legal entity was held at the STS

Topic of the next online seminar on management change which took place at the State Tax Service with participation of the STS Chairman Oleksiy Lyubchenko, his deputies Natalia Ruban, Mikhail Titarchuk, Yevhen Oleinikov, Natalia Kalenichenko and experts from the US Treasury Department’s Technical Assistance Office Faris Fink, Phil Brand and Don Mainworning was the introduction of a single legal entity. Participants discussed benefits for the State Tax Service in the new environment and methods of managing changes that the Tax Service is implementing in its activities.

“We have a great opportunity to discuss a single legal entity implementation mechanism of the State Tax Service and to convey our vision of the updated Tax Service. We are interested in creating an effective state body and involve qualified international experts in the reforming process. I am confident that experience of our colleagues will help us to manage the change effectively, which will lead to effective and positive changes in the work of entire structure” – emphasized STS Chairman Oleksiy Lyubchenko.  

According to him, due to the introduction of new mechanism, the State Tax Service will be able to centrally develop the department’s policy, unify organizational direction, strategic and operational planning and survey the legislative compliance. The central office’s oversight of functional areas will also be strengthened and the concept of decision-making powers delegation will be applied.
