Tax specialists of Odessa region prevented use of a fictitious tax credit totaling more than 2.3 million UAH of the VAT

Specialists of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region exposed tax evasion scheme, as a result of which the use of a fictitious tax credit totaling more than 2.3 million UAH of the VAT was prevented.

During the taken measures it was established that LLC “X” carried out fictitious purchase, storage and sale of products, namely purchased oils of a well-known brand, further aiming to sell other products and services (including collection, transportation, disposal of waste oils, imported products). Herewith, the LLC has any own or leased fixed assets and full-time employees.

As a result, this payer is included in the list of risky taxpayers, which further prevents the spread of tax credit scheme and appropriate decisions are made to include all scheme participants in the list of risky taxpayers.

As follows, enterprises of the real sector of economy did not take advantage of this scheme and paid tax liabilities to the state budget in full.

Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region appeals to the value added tax payers to avoid participating in tax minimization and / or tax benefit schemes.
