Educational online project for young people “Fundamentals of Taxation” has started in Kharkiv region

Educational online project for young people “Fundamentals of Taxation” has started at Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region. The idea of holding such event was supported by regional media and educational institutions. Because safety and health of children is paramount, the latest forms of online communication are used through the Zoom Conference program.

Future IT specialists were the first to participate in the educational project. Students of the Computer and Technology College of NTU “KhPI” listened to the first lecture and interacted with tax specialists. The event was not a scholastic lecture but instead became an interesting discussion platform. Students actively asked questions to lecturers and expressed their views about the current tax system.

Currently, the higher education institutions of Kharkiv region have also applied to the Tax Service to involve students in the online educational program. Therefore, the practice of conducting such educational activities for young people should exist on an ongoing basis. The State Tax Service is aware that the tax culture should be instilled and developed from the school years.
