Tax specialists of Kherson region exposed the “road” tax evasion scheme totaling 15 million UAH

Tax specialists of Kherson region proved violation of tax legislation by the building organization in court of appeal.

Building organization created the “road” scam, using it in financial and economic operations with enterprises that supplied products, performed works and services for the construction of roads in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. Another enterprise – winner of tender for the repair and construction of roads, in an attempt to obtain extra profits from the procurement of public funds, overestimated costs involving business entities with fictitiousness signs and transit companies. Funds for allegedly provided services were transferred to accounts of these enterprises which were later transferred to cash.

Such non-commodity operations costed almost 15 million UAH to the building organization with financial sanctions, accrued VAT and income tax.
