Tax specialists of Volyn region exposed the fact of obtaining criminal proceeds totaling 1.8 million UAH

Tax specialists conducted analytical research and exposed signs of obtaining illegal proceeds totaling 1 million 845 thousand UAH in the implementation of public procurement agreements by one construction company in Volyn region.

Specifically, it was identified that Volyn LLC, as a participant in public procurement, regularly received orders from budgetary institutions to perform repair and construction works.

Herewith, this company added information on labor costs totaling more than 2.9 million UAH to the acts of performed works during 2017 – 2019. It was identified that the actual costs of wages and the single social contribution amounted less than 1.1 million UAH.

It is the fact that has obvious signs of rules violation for determining the cost of works compiling the bid price of a bidder and entering unreliable information in acts of performed works. This may be due to the illegal withdrawal of funds from budgetary institutions totaling 1 million 845 thousand UAH in favor of construction company.

Law enforcement officers entered information to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations about the commission of a criminal offense under Part 4 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (misappropriation of property or taking it by the malpractice in especially large amounts) and launched a pre-trial investigation taking into account conclusion of the analytical study, in cooperation with the Main Directorate of SFS in Volyn region.
