Another scheme of the state funds legalization totaling 43.9 million UAH was exposed

STS specialists exposed another scheme of illegal misappropriation of funds by providing tax benefits for the unjustified formation of a tax credit totaling almost 43.9 million UAH to third parties and possible withdrawal of state funds totaling 228.2 million UAH.

It was detected that Odessa company (in the absence of necessary labor resources, fixed assets, involved subcontractors) declared performance of construction works for the total amount of 263.3 million UAH, including 43.9 million UAH of the VAT during 2019 – 2020. Such actions allowed the company to get a tax benefit for the unjustified formation of tax credit to enterprises of the real sector of economy totaling 43.9 million UAH.

Materials collected by specialists of the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region were sent to the State Administration of Emergency Situations in Odessa region for decision-making according to current legislation of Ukraine and Article 214 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
