Tax specialists exposed theft and legalization of forest resources totaling more than 32 million UAH

Tax specialists exposed theft and legalization of forest resources. Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region, processing tax information, established operations for the sale of forest products of unknown origin due to the uncontrolled logging. This led to losses to the State Forest Fund of Ukraine and legalization of forest resources totaling 32.7 million UAH.

Committed actions have signs according to which the responsibility under Article 191 and 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is provided.

Research materials were handed to the law enforcement body for decision-making according to Article 214 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine.
