Oleksiy Lyubchenko: Protecting interests of honest business is a priority

Main aspects of cooperation and further plans for its development were discussed during a meeting by Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko and representatives of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.

“We have common goals – to protect interests of honest business and ensure equal competitive conditions. Therefore, the STS has significantly strengthened the analytical component to stop VAT abuse schemes, which allowed not only to provide additional funds to the budget, but also to expand market for legal business” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

At the same time, it is important for taxpayers to fulfill their obligations to the state in a timely manner. Thus, the STS is modernizing the tax compliance system, which will minimize the tax evasion risks, help taxpayers to avoid the most common mistakes in the future, simplify reporting and tax payments, jointly solve problems and eliminate obstacles.

In turn, Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynyk noted the effective cooperation with the State Tax Service and awarded Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko with the FRU award “Un-shadowing in action”. This award was unanimously awarded to Chairman of the STS by the Presidium of the FRU Council as a government official who in 2020 made a significant contribution to un-shadowing the economy, establishing partnerships with business and providing revenues to the state budget without administrative measures.
